Reel editor: raw footage → captioned 9:16 reels

Upload clips; Krevaya transcribes, keeps the strongest moments, and burns in captions.

Written by Shawn Ng · Updated August 1, 2026

Upload your own footage — talking-head or screen-share works best — and Krevaya transcribes it, keeps the strongest moments, reframes to 9:16, and burns in captions.

The flow

  1. Your footage — up to 5 clips, 500 MB each (MP4/MOV).
  2. Captions & framing — Pop / Clean / No captions; layout Fill 9:16, Blur pad, or Speaker focus.
  3. Cut my reel — an async job (queued → analyzing → rendering; keep the tab open).

The result lands as an Instagram Reel draft in your review queue.

Fine-tune the cut

The transcript editor shows every sentence — tap to keep or cut, nudge in/out points in ±0.25 s steps, watch the "Keeping Xs of Ys" counter, switch caption style or layout, then Re-render my cut (no re-transcription, no new AI pass — it's fast).

Want more control? Open in the video editor moves the project to the timeline editor with scenes, text overlays, and music lanes.
